05/23/2017    Tuesday - Stephen and Joyce Singular join me in the first hour for a discussion of the genre bending documentary Casting JonBenet. Produced by Netflix and directed by Kitty Green, the film employs a novel approach to true crime documentaries: using an open casting call Green interviews Boulder area actors as they prepare for the roles of John and Patsy Ramesy and other major figures in the case, interspersed with some reenactments, and their own theories as to who committed the crime. We begin by discussing our overall feelings of the film and the merits and disappointments of this unique approach. Joyce and Stephen talk about the fact that this is the first major film to come out on the JonBenet case that actually tackles the topic of child porn rings in Boulder. We also focus on the fact that this film is also the first that actually attempts to humanize John and Patsy Ramsey. The three of us talk about several key scenes in the film in which the actors talk about their own personal experiences (some very similar to this case) where they were presented with serious moral dilemmas. We talk about their own responses to these events and how this offers insight into the actions and emotions of the Ramsey family. Joyce and Stephen also talk about the terrify reality that children are presented with on a daily basis, and why JonBenet continues to be exploited to this day. We also touch on pedophile John Mark Karr's false confession, the culture of child pageants, and the ways in which the media continues to hide the true of what took place 20 years ago. We close out the first hour by briefly talking about OJ Simpson's upcoming parole hearing.

In the second hour I break down some of the most recent developments in the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislane legal saga. I address the rumors and allegations that Virginia Giuffre is about to settle her defamation case and why I think it may be bogus. I also explore the other allegations put forth by Conchita Sarnoff that Ghislane Maxwell's lawyers have no idea where she is. Next I move onto Sarnoff's recent defense of US attorney and Epstein protector Alex Acosta, and why Sanroff continues to act as the conduit for all important Epstein related news. Later I talk about Epstein's newest high profile team of lawyers, why he is aligning himself with his employee Lesley Groff, and what this all means moving forward. I finish off by presenting several possibilities for what this all means and if Epstein and company might actually be severed up some real justice. I also announce who my special guest will be next week.

Note: Stephen and Joyce are also working on a new book and documentary dealing with police violence and PTSD. You can find out more about this by visiting StephenSingular.com

05/16/2017    Tuesday - Today I am joined by friend of the show Caram Kapp. Caram was last on episode 42 The Homeland Hackers, and returns to discuss the Egyptian uprising six years later. We start off by discussing the basics of the uprising and some of the behind the scenes actors. Caram explains his own experiences as an Egyptian, and as someone who was there on the ground around this time. We touch on the rumors of Western manipulation and how some of these allegations have overshadowed the real life grievances of the Egyptian populace and their reasons for wanting to get rid of Mubarak. Caram and I then move onto the two most important actors of the revolution (The Muslim Brotherhood and the Army) and how they became the ultimate arbiters of the revolution. Caram talks about his time in Cairo just after Brotherhood leader Muhammad Morsi was elected. Caram describes the parallels between Morsi and his brief tenure as president to that of Donald Trump. We talk about similarities in both personality and demeanor, as well as the ways in which Morsi represented "change" and ran on a campaign of making "Egypt Great Again." Caram and I also discuss the notion that Morsi or those around him were well aware of the realities and influence of the Egyptian military, and understood that they may have been used as a stopgap to put the military back in place.

We expand on this more in the second hour exploring other parallels between Trump, Morsi, and current Egyptian President al-Sisi. Caram and I look at the ways in which al-Sisi and Trump have managed to normalize the military and the police, even when engaging in extreme behavior. Later Caram and I look at some of the recent geopolitical developments in Egypt and how they mirror actions here in the US. We look at the escalating tensions between Sudan and Egypt over the contested Halayeb Triangle and how this mimics Trump's rhetoric against Mexico. Caram and I also discuss the current state of Egyptian media which like the revolution has returned right back to where it started. Caram and I finish off by looking at where Egypt may be headed and why it has lost influence within the Arab world, and has become one of the forgotten aspects of the Arab Spring.

05/09/2017    Tuesday - Frequent guest Robbie Martin joins us for an in-depth discussion of Trump, alt-right, Mike Cernovich and more. We begin by discussing Trump's completion of the “magical” hundred days in office. Robbie and I talk about the media strategy that Trump and his team employed for these first hundred days in the White House. We look at how Trump has reversed positions on nearly all of his campaign promises and the timing of this coinciding with the end of the hundred days. Robbie and I both give our theories as to why he has reserved course before diving into the reaction from his hardcore alt-right base. Robbie and I discuss how the alt-right base has continued to support Trump and defend him despite his broken and reversed promises. Robbie talks about the ways in which they have shifted the argument away from Trump's failures and onto the neocons, Clinton's, and leftists in general. We also talk about the most recent invocation of the great existential threat, Russia and Putin. Robbie and I touch on the recent congressional testimony of Sally Yates, and why the democrats are so obsessed with going after Trump's alleged ties to Russia.

In the second hour Robbie breaks down the strange bromance going on between neocon propagandist Eli Lake and alt-right propagandist Mike Cernovich. Robbie explains the strange similarities between recent stories put out by Lake and Cernovich, which seem to allude them to having the same sources. We talk about the bizarre rise of Cernovich and the way in which the mainstream media continues to prop him up and support him. We also touch on the idea that Cernovich is being groomed to take over from Alex Jones should his legal problems continue to get worse. I also update the listeners on the Giuffre v Maxwell defamation case and Cernovich's meddling in it. We end by discussing where the hardcore racialist segments of Trump's base will end up in the foreseeable future. I also do my best impression of Mike Cernovich's lisp.

05/02/2017    Tuesday - Daniel Louis Crumpton joins me today to talk about his work with the non-profit CannaSense. Daniel explains how CannaSense provides medical grade cannabis and related products to anyone in need through out the 50 states. We talk about the legal framework that CannaSense uses in order to provide the medicine. Daniel breaks down what they call the trifecta (Compassionate Use act, Affordable Care Act, and the Article 4 Section 1 of the Constitution) which sets up a legal framework to prescribe cannabis and distribute it no matter where you happen to live. We also talk about the various legal arguments opposing this, and show how they don't really stand up to what the Constitution enumerates to us. Daniel also talks about the legal safeguards that CannaSense offers to all of its members. Later Daniel talks about the types of people that he works with as a caregiver with CannaSense. We discuss the medical cannabis movement and why so many people would benefit from medicinal cannabis.

In the second hour Daniel and I discuss the growing legalization movement and our problems with it. We talk about the fear of the corporatization, taxation, and government regulation of cannabis. Daniel and I talk from a philosophical viewpoint that the government can't "legalize" a plant that our bodies were designed to consume. We discuss our own desires to see cannabis become decriminalized and simply a part of the fabric of America, and not an extension of Monsanto and the government. Daniel and I also talk about how the deregulated cannabis market works very well as it stands right now. We end by talking about anti-cannabis crusaders like Jeff Sessions and Chris Christie and how irrelevant they are becoming.

APRIL

04/25/2017    Tuesday - Chuck Ochelli and Tom Secker join me today for a discussion on the current "revolutions" going on within society. We start off by looking at Snowden and his role as a synthetic agent of revolution. We then look at the rise of the alt-right and their political rhetoric. We talk about how it has now cool to be a right-winger, and how it is both counter culture and revolutionary to be right wing. We look at the role that the government may be playing in fomenting these so called revolutionary movements. The three of us also look at the rise of far right and far left groups and how they are both being manipulated into committing acts of violence. We explore the recent clashes in Berkeley and how it represents the devolution of political thought.

In the second hour Chuck and I rant about the collective passivity of American society. We talk about the decline in entertainment and how the lack of public outrage only feeds it. Chuck talks about the role that mass consumerism is playing and the threat that it poses to us. We expand this out into the political realm and explore how this has lead us to accept military airstrikes in Syria and elsewhere. Chuck and I also talk about the downfall and possible comeback of Bill O'Reily and the performance artist formerly known as Alex Jones. We also talk about the recent war of words with North Korea.

04/18/2017    Tuesday - Tom Secker joins me to wrap up our series of episodes focusing on the sixth season of Homeland. We begin by discussing our thoughts on seeing Dar Adal behind bars (I was quite upset about this). We then move onto some of the major. We discuss what the overarching goals are for the CIA. Ideas and moments in the final two episodes. Tom and I discuss the significance of the show talking about the infamous Office of Policy Coordination and its role in the attempted assassination against the President Elect. We explore why the agency would want the show to mention this. Tom and I also dissect Saul's assertion that they are fighting back against a CIA engineered coup. Tom talk's about how this is an oft used plot device in CIA sponsored media. The agency has long glorified the violent revolution orchestrated by themselves. Tom and I ponder if this is one of the goals of this season. We also talk about how this season of Homeland has managed to mimic our current political system better than any other show to date. We touch on the fact that Donald Trump reversed course on all his promises at the same time that the fictional Homeland president does a similar reversal. We also touch on this seasons continued use of the concept of a deep state, and the idea that the CIA are the good guys fighting against it.

In the second hour Tom and I discuss the recent admission by Alex Jones' lawyer that he is in fact nothing more than a performance artist. We talk about how in some ways this mimics the Brett O'Keefe character on Homeland. Tom and I talk about the impact that this will have on both the alt-media and politics in general. We touch on the idea that there is a reshuffling going on within sectors of the right-wing mainstream and alternative media. I finish off the episode by talking about the recent passing of Will Grigg, his legacy, and how we can help out his family.

04/11/2017    Tuesday - Frequent guest Brian Heiss joins me for an in depth discussion of the current state of the media, and their continued legacy of manipulation and deception. We begin our conversation by dissecting the bogus news story that OJ Simpson is set to make a reality TV show with Casey Anthony. Brian and I discuss now the genesis of this story is a TMZ article that determined that an OJ reality show was actually impossible to make at this current time. Brian describes how this TMZ article became the source for numerous mainstream media articles making the false claim that the reality show indeed happening. We dive into how this fake news became a viral and is now entirely accepted as fact. Brian and I then move onto how the OJ trial built the foundation for this trend in media. We talk about several lies about the trial that have become accepted fact because of peoples emotional desires to believe something that fits their world view. We discuss productions such as The People vs OJ Simpson and OJ: Made in America and how they have continued to exploit lies in order to craft their own version of the truth.

In the second hour we expand out on this topic and look at the ways in which the media manipulates crime both here and abroad to fuel ratings and revenue. Brian and I use the OJ trial and the false allegations by people such as Jill Shivley as an analogy for the current push for war in Syria. We examine how emotions and not evidence drive both the public's opinions about OJ and Bashar al Assad. Brian and I also look at the increased number of true crime documentaries that knowingly manipulate our emotions with lies and how this is affecting our entire criminal justice system. We speak about this rush to judgment and trial by media circus and it's relationship to events such as the recent chemical attack in Syria.

04/04/2017    Tuesday - Doug Valentine joins me to discuss the 49th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. We begin by discussing Doug's involvement with the King families civil case against alleged co-conspirator Loyd Jowers. Doug talks about how and why he was hired by King family lawyer William Pepper and the aspects that he was tasked with investigating. Doug discusses his time in Memphis interviewing witnesses to the crime, some of whom had never been questioned by police. Doug also describes the bigger meaning behind Kings murder, and how it represented the everyday murder of black Americans through out the country. We then move on to some of the specifics of the case itself. Doug and I explore some of the core pieces of evidence that point to a larger government conspiracy. Doug talks about Loyd Jowers and his connection with alleged assassin James Earl Ray, as well as how Ray was able to flee the country and travel around on fake passports. Doug describes how the Memphis police detail guarding King was removed and how at least one undercover police officer, Marrell McCollough, was inserted into the King entourage. Doug also goes into detail about the allegations that US Army personnel were stationed in the near by firehouse in order to film the assassination. Doug also touches on mafia involvement in the assassination, and the links this has to the CIA. We finish off the first hour by talking about the importance of the 1999 civil trial against Loyd Jowers. Doug and I talk about the significance of a jury being able to come to the conclusion that the government was capable of conspiring to murder Martin Luther King.

In the second hour I talk about a few more intriguing aspects of the King assassination. I talk about Reverend Billy Kyles bizarre Freudian slip in which he appears to admit foreknowledge of the murder. And I also elaborate on Marrell McCollough and the fact that he later worked for the CIA. I finish off the episode by discussing King's greatest and most controversial speech, Beyond Vietnam. I talk about the significance of King's assassination taking place on the one year anniversary of Beyond Vietnam. I also talk about King's message that poverty, racism, materialism, and militarism are all intrinsically linked to one another. I finish off by discussing how the media has white-washed the legacy and radicalism of Martin Luther King.

MARCH

03/28/2017    Tuesday - Tom Secker returns for the second installment of our discussion on the sixth season of Homeland. We begin with a quick recap of the past several episodes before diving into the big themes going on this season. Tom and I begin by focusing on the character of Dar Adal and the notion that he represents a faction of the now infamous deep state. We talk about the mysterious private intelligence firm that Adal is using for assassinations, false flag bombings, and information operations. Tom and I discuss what exactly the CIA is getting out of having their favorite TV portray such a nefarious and shadowy organization at the center of the season plot-line. We also touch on the fact that the CIA is virtually nonexistent in this season and what that may mean. The two of us talk about the fact that Homeland has successfully made this whole season revolve around the meme of "fake news" and big data as a powerful tool for manipulation. We talk about the fact that these ideas were woven into the script months before they became talking points for the general public. Tom talks about the power of the fake news meme as a tool of the CIA and National Security State. We also explore the character of Brett O'Keefe who is the greatest characterization of Alex Jones ever. Tom and I talk about O'Keefe's role as a deep state contractor for Dar Adal, and his efforts to create sock puppet accounts to influence public opinion.

In the second hour Tom ask the question if the CIA is telling us that Alex Jones is in fact an agency asset through Homeland. We explore the various interpretations of the O'Keefe – Jones character and what the CIA may be trying to tell us about the alt-media and conspiracy culture in general. Tom also tells us about his articles in The American Journal of Economics and Sociology. I finish off the show by discussing the increasingly dire situation in Yemen and why no one is talking about it.

03/21/2017    Tuesday - Good friend Aaron Franz joins me on the show this week to discuss our recent work in The American Journal of Economics and Sociology. We begin by talking about some of the behind the scenes aspects of the issue. I talk about the whole process of how the issue came into being from the initial offer from Clifford Cobb, getting all the writers together, and dealing with all the road bumps along the way. Aaron and I talk about the actual writing process and the challenges involved in writing for an academic journal. Next we explore Aaron's piece which deals with secret societies, CIA, occult practices, and the ways in which this is mimicked in Hollywood films. We talk about the similarities between secret societies and the CIA, particularly with their strong reliance on cryptography. Aaron and I discuss the famous Kryptos sculpture outside CIA headquarters and the agencies use of art's powerful occult properties. We also talk about the bizarre Fallen Angel sculpture in CIA headquarters.

In the second hour we talk about the notion of truth as it now exists today. We begin by talking about the biblical verse "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" which is carved into the lobby wall of the CIA's Original Headquarters Building. We talk about the significance and deeper meaning behind not only the quote but why CIA Director Allen Dulles insisted that it be inscribed. Later Aaron and I move onto the current environment that we find ourselves in right now. We talk about the way truth has become an almost meaningless notion in today's political and media landscape and what this means for us as a society. Aaron and I also discuss the hidden truths behind the various statements and missteps of Donald Trump. We talk about the possible occult meanings behind this as well as the notion that a magic spell was cast on America after the election.

03/07/2017    Tuesday - Author John Potash joins me in the first hour for a discussion of his book The FBI War on Tupac Shakur and Black Leaders. John describes the radical political life that Tupac was born into; mother Afeni Shakur and step father Mutulu Shakur were both prominent Black Panthers. We talk about the impact that this had on Tupac and how this would ultimately shape his life and his untimely death. John talk about the political messages with in Tupac's songs, as well as his efforts behind the scenes to broker peace between gangs such as The Bloods and Crips. These efforts along with the politicization of the gangs would contribute to the FBI and US Intelligence targeting Tupuac relentlessly. We explore the numerous assassination attempts on Tupac including the infamous Atlanta and Marin Music Festival shootings. Later we delve into the New York shooting and the trumped up sexual assault case that would land Tupac in jail. John and I also break down the influence of Death Row Records and Suge Knight on Tupac. We discuss the intelligence connections behind Death Row, including CIA cocaine money, mafia lawyers, and the deep relationship it had with the LAPD and their elite police units. We discuss how Death Row was able to orchestrate Tupac's killing in Las Vegas at the behest of the FBI/ATF and others. We finish off by talking about the impact that Tupac's killing had on the rap world and the activist community.

In the second hour I talk about my article in the American Journal of Economics and Sociology. I talk about the issue as a whole which deals with CIA and DOD influence in Hollywood and talk about the other writers involved. Later I rant about the growing corporate take over of America and the misuse of the term Deep State. I discuss the notion that corporations are becoming countries, and countries are become nationalist corporations. I look at this through the lens of Trumps administration and the Keystone Pipeline as a case study. I attempt to show how this is really what the Deep State is up to.

FEBRUARY

02/28/2017    Tuesday - Tom Secker joins me for a discussion of the 24th anniversary of World Trade Center Bombing and the recent death Omar Abdel-Rahman aka The Blind Sheikh. We begin by discussing the official theory that the government has presented: that a group of young self radicalized Muslim men bombed the WTC, and had no apparent connection to international terrorism. Tom then breaks down aspects to the official conspiracy theory. We talk about the whole issue of FBI informant Emad Salem and the erroneous allegations that he was allowed to bomb the World Trade Center. Tom explains how this theory has permeated the alternative media and almost become accepted fact. We then begin to explore the other possibility: that this was in fact part of a much larger and complex CIA plot involving many characters that were influential in the Soviet -Afghan War and in the formation of Al Qaeda. Tom talks about the infamous Al-Farroq Mosque in Brooklyn and the role it played as a CIA front for jihadist recruits. Tom explains how all the key players from WTC 93 were intimately connected to the Blind Sheikh and the aforementioned mosque. Tom and I also talk about how WTC 93 is the foundation for the myth and and formation of both Al Qaeda and the War on Terror.

In the second hour Tom and I discuss the latest episode of Homeland and the curious references through out this season to both WTC 93 and the Blind Sheikh. We explore why the CIA would want to bring peoples attention to these incidents. We discuss the notion that this season is all about showing the problems and bad apples within the agency, and the lengths that we must go to in order to stamp them out. Tom proposes that this season enemy is not Islamic-terrorism but the complexities of the world itself and the tough choices that we have to make.

I finish off by briefly talking about the assassination of Kim Jong Nam. I also give an update on when Porkins Great Game will be back.

02/21/2017    Tuesday - Ed Opperman joins me in the first hour to discuss some of the latest news regarding the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislane Maxwell cases. Ed and talk about Mike Cernovich and his recent attempts to unseal Ghislane Maxwell's motion for summary judgment. We discuss how Alan Dershowitz has recently submitted a memorandum in full support of Cernovich. Ed and I talk about how bizarre it is for a lawyer of Dershowitz's stature to attach himself to someone as unhinged as Cernovich. Ed and I contemplate what could be in Maxwell's summary judgment that would make Dershowitz go through all this trouble. Later Ed and I rant about the way in which the Trump supporters are handling these sorts of stories. We talk about their ability to ignore every story linking the God Emperor Trump to Epstein and his crimes. Ed and I also rant about YouTube Conspiracy celebrity George Webb, and his ability to spin utter bullshit into conspiracy-crack.

In the second hour I start off by talking about the settlement in the Melania Trump and Webster Tarply defamation suit. I also talk about the Melania's new suit against The Daily Mail and the use of lawyer Charles Harder to represent her. Harder is the former lawyer of Hulk Hogan who helped destroy Gawker, and early enemy of Jeffrey Epstein. I also briefly touch on the Peter Theil connection to the Gawker suit. I finish of the show by discussing the 75th anniversary of Executive Order 9066, the act which saw 110,000 people of Japanese descent imprisoned in concentration camps within the United States. I talk about how this has become a largely ignored piece of American history. I lay out how the mind set of the 1940's is beginning to take shape again today. I also rant about liberals and my complete and utter contempt for them in the Age of Trump.

02/14/2017    Tuesday - Mafia survivor and author Frank Dimatteo joins me today for a discussion of his book President Street Boys: Growing up Mafia. Frank explains how he grew up in a world of mobsters in South Brooklyn. We explore the world in which he was born into in South Brooklyn. Frank then tells us about his own family. He talks about his father Ricky who was a trusted Gallo Crew member and the bodyguard to Larry Gallo. Frank tells us about his experiences living in a world filled in which violence was fairly normalized and his own introduction to "the life." Frank tells us about his early days driving his father and other mafioso around at the tender age of thirteen. We also discuss what it was like growing up during a mob war.

Aaron begins by discussing his experiences on Leah Remini's groundbreaking television series Scientology: The Aftermath. Aaron explains what it was like being interviewed and opening up about a dark chapter in his life and the trauma that Scientology brought down on him. Aaron also talks about the response from Scientology against Aaron, which has been in the form of his very own Scientology hate site. Aaron and I also discuss the significance of this new television series. Aaron explains how this is making a much bigger impact on the public; more so than recent documentaries like Going Clear. Aaron and I also explore the untold story of sexual abuse with the Church of Scientology. We delve into how the Church has covered this up time and time again. Aaron talk about several Scientology run schools, Cadet Orgs, and other related organizations where sexual abuse was going on and was covered up by Scientology. We also talk about the Office of Special Affairs practice of putting people "off lines" (barring you from doing services for the Church, but not kicking you out) after confessing to having sex with minors in auditing sessions.

In the second hour Aaron and I talk about what is currently going on in the upper management levels of Scientology. Aaron talk about David Miscavige's latest power grab in his unending fight to control every single aspect of Scientology. We also talk about the strange case of David Miscavige's wife Shelly, who has not been publicly seen for several years. Aaron offers his own theories as to where she is and her role with in Scientology, as well as why Miscavige may be using her as a distraction operation for people like Leah Remini and others. We address the rumors that Miscavige is sick, why he is never seen in public, and why Scientologists don't get plastic surgery. We finish off by talking about where Scientology is headed and how the group can sustain itself given all the negative publicity it has garnered in the past few years. Aaron also tells an amazing story about driving next to David Miscavige recently down in Florida and Miscavige's aggressive driving style.

JANUARY

01/31/2017    Tuesday - Today we cover the latest lawsuit against convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. This lawsuit was filed by Jane Doe 43 and accuses Epstein, Ghislane Maxwell, Sarah Kellen, Lesley Groff, and Natalya Malyshev, of being involved in a criminal sex trafficking enterprise. I talk mainly about the criminal complaint filed by Jane Doe 43 and what it reveals about Epstein and his operation. I talk about the hierarchical structure that Jane Doe 43 describes, and the various roles that the named individuals were tasked with. I touch on the mysterious case of Sarah Kellen: a known figure in Epstein's entourage who has since changed her name and married NASCAR driver Brian Vickers. I explore the process through which Jane Doe 43 (and presumably other young women) was initiated into Epstein's sex trafficking enterprise and what was expected of her. I also discuss the fact that Natalya Malyshev was not only a paid recruiter but also a victim of Epstein's. I talk about how this is an example of the complexity of this case and the practice of sexual exploitation and trafficking.

I also discuss some of the darker sides of professional modeling and Epstein's connections to MC2 modeling agency. Later I discuss why this particular case may actually have some real momentum behind it. I end the episode by giving an update on Virginia Guiffre's defamation suit against Ghislane Maxwell. I also mention the insertion of Trump Troll Mike Cernovich into that case any the significance of that.

01/24/2017    Tuesday - Today I am joined by Hugo Turner of Anti-Imperialist-U for an in depth discussion of Ted Shackley and his infamous career in the CIA. We focus on Hugo's articles chronicling Ted Shackley as well as the Iran Contra Scandal. We begin by taking a look at Shackley's beginnings in military intelligence recruiting Nazi's, and his later recruitment into the CIA during the Korean War. Hugo paints us a picture of the man that Shackley would become: obsessively driven and cutthroat. We touch on some of Shackley's early mentors such as William Harvey who introduced Shackley to the Cuban exile committee. Hugo explains what Shackley was up to in Miami while Station Cheif there as well as his possible connection to the JFK assassination. Next we move onto Laos where Shackley would truly come into his own. We explore Shackley's role in the Laotian heroin trade and his use of the Hmong people as a CIA mercenary force. Hugo explains how this would later become the blue print for CIA operations in places like Afghanistan and Libya. We also discuss Shackley's time as Station Chief in Vietnam.

Next we talk about Shackley's role in the overthrow of Chilean leader Allende and the installation of the fascist Pinochet. We then explore how Shackley would come to befriend George H W Bush, and being a long time collaboration with the deep cover CIA agent. Hugo and I also touch on some of the forgotten scandals of the past that Shackley was involved with including EASTCO and the Nugan Hand Bank. Hugo also explains how Shackley was a trend setter in the field of private intelligence by talking about his work with the powerful Safari Club. We finish off the conversation by looking at Shackley's role in Iran Contra and the War on Drugs as a whole. Hugo also discusses WACL and the major role it continues to play in covert operations. We briefly talk about the TV show Narco's and what it gets completely wrong. We round out by talking about Trump and the CIA speech he gave and what might be in-store for future CIA operations.

01/17/2017    Tuesday - In the first hour Tom Secker joins me to discuss the season premier of Homeland season six. We talk about the season reboot which has become a ubiquitous feature of Homeland. Tom and I begin by discussing our initial impressions of the season and where we think the show is going on a political and emotional level. Next we move onto one of the new and most interesting characters in the show, President-elect Elizabeth Keane, the junior Senator from New York. We talk about how this character is not a character of Hillary Clinton as we and any others predicted, but instead a much more complex character which in many ways is closer to Donald Trump. We discuss the ideas and politics that the CIA is putting forth in this new season. Tom and I talk about how the notion of the CIA plotting against the president-elect is not only a major story line in Homeland but also in real life vis-a-vis Trump and the CIA. The two of us also talk about the idea that this season of Homeland will retell and reinvent the story of Al Qaeda. We explore the possibility that this is the overarching story the CIA wants to put out the the public, and that a new form or wave of jihadi attacks may be in-store for the West.

In the second hour frequent guest Robbie Martin joins us to discuss some of the latest political and geopolitical events. We begin by exploring the childish discourse from both Trump and the media over the past several weeks. Next we talk about our opinions of the recent "intelligence report" claiming that Trump is a Russian Manchurian candidate. We talk about our thoughts on the possibility of violence erupting between Israel and Palestine. Robbie and I focus on some of the strange stories coming about of Israel including: Israeli jets bombing Damascus, and US officials warning Israel not to share intelligence with Trump. The Two of us discuss our feelings on increased rhetoric of the all powerful Russian state against our quaint democratic life in the US. Robbie and I touch on the recent commutation of Chelsea Manning and the possibility that Julian Assange will stand trial in America. We also talk about Glenn Greenwald's recent use of the term Deep State.

01/10/2017    Tuesday - My guest today is the great Douglas Valentine. Doug joins me to discuss his latest book The CIA as Organized Crime. We begin by looking at why Doug decided to write this book and the way in which it is structured. Next we delve into Doug's relationship with the CIA and how he came to write about it's inner-workings. Doug talks about his relationship with the agency and how he began getting access to operatives and officials while writing The Phoneix Program, including his meetings with former CIA Director William Colby. Doug also talks about how the agency attempted to co-opt him with money and a job, and their monitoring of his activities and research. Doug and I also talk about how the agency has grown and evolved from the late 1940's to the present. We also touch on the recent anti-Russian media operations the CIA is involved with. Doug explains how this is both a distraction and a divide and conquer tactic that the CIA has perfected over the years.

In the second hour Doug explains how his research into the CIA led him to explore and write two books chronicling the narcotics trade and the War on Drugs. Doug talks about the way in which the CIA took over the Federal Bureau of Narcotics and later the DEA. We talk about how important the drug trade is to the CIA and how it is a cornerstone of the agency and its operations. I finish off by talking about several exciting upcoming episodes coming out in the next two months.

01/03/2017    Tuesday - On todays epsidoe I lay out my predictions for 2017. In the first hour I look at geopolitics and the places I think will be important in 2017. I begin by focusing on a possible resolution in Syria and how this may play out for the future. I also talk about a few other hot-spots in the middle east to pay attention to: Israel and Yemen. I discuss why these are both important for the future of the region and on a global scale. I also explore Asia, focusing on China and North Korea. I discuss how president Trump may handle these countries and how geopolitics and foreign policy will change under his administration. I also touch on the idea that the CIA will become even more bold and out of control under Trump.

In the second hour Chuck Ochelli (and Frankie) joins me for more 2017 predictions. We talk about where the alt-media is headed. Whether or not Wikileaks is actually going to release some bombshells this year. If Trump really knows any secrets about cyber security. The future of marijuana legalization and the drug war. Will comedy get better? And the possibility of Ivanka as First Lady.
